Tips for Vaping in the Winter: Will E-Juice Freeze?

Winter is right around the corner and everyone is gearing up to go skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, potentially ice fishing and all of the other cool outdoor activities one can dream up. But when it comes to being a vape enthusiast and yearning to blow that big cloud on top of a snowy mountain, what does that mean for you? First and foremost, as many people have asked, will e-juice freeze? The simple answer is yes, however the point at which it will freeze depends on a variety of factors, namely the contents of the e-liquid itself. Without getting too technical, once you're in temperatures below 15 degrees Fahrenheit you should start to get worried. Either keep your vaporizer inside of a warm jacket or hope for the best. e-juice freeze Aside from the e-liquid, the second thing you should be worried about is the battery in your vaporizer. Think about how it becomes difficult to start your car when it's very cold outside and as temperatures drop things, especially the battery, begin to fail. The same applies to vaporizers. As far as your vaporizer itself goes, unless you're puffing on one that's built for the arctic (that would be cool) you should expect to encounter some malfunctions at low temperatures if left out for extended periods of time. On the other hand, we've gone on various ski/snowboard trips with no issues, so it all depends on the weather as well as what you're vaping on.
