Geekvape AP2 Pod Kit is the update to the original Aegis Pod. It is proven to be one of the smallest and toughest tri-proof pod vapes that they carry. As mentioned above this is the update to the Aegis Pod – you know the one which looked a bit like a beetle!
When a device has an “Aegis” badge you know it will be a tough cookie and the AP2 is “Tri-Proof” which basically means it has IP67 protection being waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof.
Inside the updated body is a 900mAh battery which is charged via the USB type C port – the charge rate and time are sadly not specified.
Also, the output is not specified but you can choose from 3 power levels to suit the coil installed by pressing the multi-function fire button.
The button also turns the device on and off, operates the fire and you can also lock the button to prevent accidental firing.
A pod is installed which is where your e-liquid lives and you can refill via the side fill port. The capacity is 4.5ml as standard or reduced to 2ml for TPD regulated areas.
You can change the coil in this and it uses the G-Series coil range which is also compatible with the Wenax Stylus, Wenax C1, and G18 Starter kit.
Inside the box are the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm coils and a tool to help remove the coil when it’s time to change.
By rotating the pod 180° then installing you can choose from a tight airflow (MTL) or looser airflow (Restricted DTL). The airflow inlets on either side of the pod itself are of different sizes.

This version is definitely more stylish and grown-up than the original – but I find the original far cuter!
