Geekvape B60 is the newest update to the Aegis Boost range.
Geekvape has been making some excellent products for many years. Their most famous ones are that of the Aegis line, which is the line this device is modeled after. Geekvape has been adding to the Aegis Boost range with Boost Plus, Boost Pro, and B100 kits and now it is time for the 2nd generation!
Aegis Boost 2 is an AIO pod vape, and like its predecessor, it’s made to be light but also rugged. Its internal battery is listed at 2000 mAh, and it comes with refillable pods that have a massive 5 mL capacity. The device uses the B series of coils, which have been used in a variety of devices in the past, so they are readily accessible.
The original Aegis was the first rugged mod with an IP certification—and really changed the way devices are made—while the original Boost was a really good and reliable AIO.
Keep reading to find out if the Aegis Boost 2 is a worthy entry in these lines.
What To Expect From Geekvape B60 Kit...
As with the rest of the Aegis range, Geekvape has created a new generation for the Boost versions.
B60 is very blingy and shiny – but does it still have all the features everyone loved in the original range?
In a word – Yes and more!
The main selling point is how rugged the Aegis range is designed to be and this is no different with the IP68 water, dust, and shock-proof rating.
There is an internal 2000mAh battery that is charged using the USB Type C port but the charge rate/time is not specified.
Output wise this is stated as 5-60W (7.5V Max) and it appears to have Variable Wattage, Smart (sets a maximum output to prevent coil damage), and Boost user modes.
A beautiful 0.96in curved TFT color screen displays all your vaping data.
Another great upgrade is the A-Lock switch – which basically locks the device buttons to prevent accidental firing.
The brain of the device is the AS-Chip 3.0 chipset.
Moving onto the pod now – this is refillable via the top fill port with up to 5ml (or 2ml for TPD regulated areas) of your own e-liquid.
To help prevent leaking the airflow inlets are on the top of the pod and the inlet has a slide adjustment.
This uses the Geekvape B Series coil range which is also compatible with many other Geekvape kits.
You get the 0.2ohm and 0.6ohm coils included in the kit.
Here is an introduction video from the YouTube Channel...
The device is offered in seven colors: Blue Red, Silver, Bottle Green, Golden Red, Black, Mint Blue, and Rainbow. It really is beautiful from up close and I had no color chipping issues with mine. All the colors are full-body, so each color stands out in its own way—a much better design than that of some devices where only a panel is different.
It definitely looks stunning and with additional features, it should be a winner!
