I am currently reviewing RPM 5 / 5 Pro, plus the range includes the original RPM 40, RPM 80, RPM 80 Pro, RPM Lite, RPM 160, RPM 2, RPM 2S, and RPM 4.
What To Expect From SMOK RPM 25 Kit...
As you can see this is more of a starter kit designed for higher nicotine / nic salt and MTL vapers.
MTL means “Mouth To Lung” and is a vaping style often favored by Ex-smokers to replicate the sensation of smoking.
You have 2 main components to this kit – the mod (or battery section) and the pod (or tank).
Firstly looking at the mod – this has a 900mAh internal battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at a 0.87A max charge rate.
The output wattage is variable and you can select between 5 to 25W to suit the coil you have installed.
A clear single color 0.69inch OLED screen is located on the side of the mod to display all of your vaping data.
To make things easier there is no fire button – it is draw activated. So just inhale on the mouthpiece and the mod will automatically fire if the mod is switched on.
A single adjustment button is provided which is also the on/off switch.
Also, another great touch is the airflow adjustment dial located above the screen to tailor the airflow to suit you.
Moving on to the pod now – this will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid, to refill remove the pod from the mod and fill through the side fill port.
The coils are replaceable – which gives you more freedom and is more efficient financially and environmentally.
Included in the kit are 2 of the LP1 0.9ohm MTL coils. But you can use other coils from the LP1 range here too.
There are 4 color options to choose from: Brown Leather, Grey Leather, Black Leather, and Beige White Leather.
I have to say it is not the prettiest kit I have seen, but it has some excellent features to take it slightly above the average starter kit.
