Uwell Caliburn GK2 Pod Kit is the latest addition to the wonderful Caliburn range.
This range is always my answer when people ask “What is the best starter kit?” For years the original Caliburn or Koko was the best and since then we have had Caliburn A2 and Caliburn AK2 – that’s without even looking at the “G” range.

This is a member of the Caliburn G range which uses removable coils. As you may deduce by the name, Caliburn GK2 is a crossover between the two great Caliburn styles. It’s a square device like the Koko and AK2 (K), but it sits in the Caliburn G range utilizing replaceable coils (G2).
It has a splendid design from its cyberpunk and futuristic design, the device shows different power levels with different colors, and it also vibrates to indicate when there's a low voltage, open circuit, over time, and a cartridge is being installed. Also, the CALIBURN GK2 has an E-liquid window that allows you to check by a glance when there's a need for refilling.
CALIBURN GK2 is lightweight, it only weighs 45.2g allowing it to be comfortable and easy to carry on your hand, it also includes a lanyard which makes it so convenient to take the pod anywhere.
Inside this little device is a 690mAh battery which is charged via the USB Type C port. No charge rate or charge time is specified.
One of the main striking features is how the front panel lights up.
This is also your indication system as the lights change color to show the battery capacity remaining. Oh, and there is also a vibrating motor too which indicates alerts.
The output is specified as 18W, I am not sure if this changes according to the pod installed or if it depletes as the battery charge reduces?
Talking of pods the kit includes the new 1.2ohm UN2 Meshed-H G2 coil and also the original 0.8ohm G coil.
This is compatible with Caliburn G series coils and there is also a 1ohm coil available separately.
Each pod will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid and you remove the mouthpiece to access the top fill port.
At the base of the pod is a little wheel you turn to adjust the incoming airflow to your preference.
There are 4 color options to choose from Ribbon Red, Ocean Flame, Matte Black, and Aurora Green.
This is a funky-looking little device and being part of the Caliburn family you can expect it to provide great flavor!
