Vaporesso Gen Fit 40 is the latest device with a “Gen” badge...
The Gen range has been very popular starting with box mods like Gen, Gen Nano, and Gen S, then they moved to pod mods with Gen Air 40 and PT60/PT80S kits.
What To Expect From Vaporesso Gen Fit 40 Kit...
So in a world of disposables and pod kits - this is an actual box mod and tank kit - woohoo!
The mod is the Gen Fit 40 mod and has a 2000mAh internal battery. This should be quick to charge as there is a USB Type C port with a 2A charge rate.
The output is variable and will adjust between 5-40W to suit the coil you are using - more on that later!
On top of the mod is a 0.42in Black and White OLED screen - which is similar to the layout on Smok Mag Grip.
Included in the full kit is iTank X which is an update to iTank. The iTank range includes the teeny iTank M from Gen Fit Kit, plus the original iTank found in Target 100, Target 220, and Gen 200 kits.
New technology has been created for the latest Vaporesso kits which are called “Corex”.
Basically, this is a newly designed coil system that has so far been found in the PT60 /PT80S kits.
Inside the coil is a different mesh structure called “Morph-Mesh” which is apparently more effective at heating. This is combined with “Cumulus Cotton” which is a microfibre that they claim is more absorbent.
Included in the kit are a 1.2ohm regular coil and a 0.6ohm mesh coil. However, this tank is compatible with the whole GTX coil range found in other Vaporesso devices.
The tank capacity is 3.5ml standard or 2ml for TPD regulated areas and a quarter turn top cap gives access to the fill port.
At the base of the tank is the adjustable airflow control ring.
The mod and tank appear to both have standard 510 connections so should be compatible with other mods and tanks.

There are 6 colors to choose from Midnight Black, Space Grey, Prussian Blue, Rose Gold, Taffy Pink, and Sierra Blue.
The fact this kit is compatible with the GTX coil range makes this a lot more versatile.
