If you enjoy a loose MTL vape, you’ll especially appreciate XROS 3 and its mini version, since even with the airflow hole fully closed, the 0.6ohm mesh pod allows for a rather airy experience.
Nevertheless, the flavor delivery of the two is just average, though it’s consistent. Vaporesso XROS 3 and XROS 3 Mini are not the best ones to go for if you’re finicky about the intensity of flavor you get from a vape.
Battery and Charging
The battery built into Vaporesso XROS S and Mini is both 1000mAh – powerful enough to ensure sufficient capacity for all-day vaping. Charging is simple and speedy thanks to the Type C charging port which is located on the base of the device. It took us around one hour to get the two fully charged.
Although the two pod vapes both use a LED light strip to indicate how much battery life you have left and whether it’s time to recharge, Vaporesso XROS 3 does it in a more aesthetical way. It impressed us with its wonderful neon lighting effect.
Regardless of how the light looks, their battery indicators work the same way: it shines green between 70% and 100% of battery life, blue between 30% and 70%, and red at 30% and below, telling you at a glance whether it’s time to get out the charger!

When you’re looking for the right balance between price and performance, and with a good measure of user-friendly design thrown into the mix, you won’t go far wrong by choosing Vaporesso XROS 3 or XROS 3 Mini.
Vaporesso XROS 3 provides a bit more customization than the Mini, including its AFC system and a button designed for switching the device on and off. Hence, it costs 10 dollars more than the Mini version.
