Product Vaporesso GEN PT60 & PT80 S Kit Preview - Featuring “Corex” & Crazy Top Airflow / Fill Port!

Vaporesso Gen PT60 & PT80S are two similar but slightly different pod kits, with the main difference being the battery type. GEN PT60, which comes with an internal battery listed at 2500 mAh, and GEN PT80S, which takes a single 18650 battery.

What To Expect From Vaporesso Gen PT60 & PT80S Kits...

I have actually held both of these in my hand and they are super sexy!

There are quite a few new design features on these kits – the main ones being…

A. X Tank – It features an innovative double-top system. At the top of the pod is an airflow control ring – top airflow inlets help prevent leakage.

B. Also the airflow control ring conceals the fill port! If you continue to rotate the ring a silicone cover appears which you open to fill. It is quite crazy in real life as you would expect the ring to catch on the lip of the fill port cover – but it doesn’t!

It’s all part of the seal, saturate and store (SSS) technology that Vaporesso applies to their products. This ‘Quadra’ leak resistance is an improvement over glass sub-ohm tanks.

C. Corex coil technology – although this kit is compatible with existing GTX coils – the new coils have a Morph-Mesh heating element which apparently heats up more evenly to be more efficient.

D. Coil wicking – the wicking is made from Cumulus cotton microfibre which is apparently more absorbent than standard cotton.

Looking at the more basic features of the kits – PT60 has a 2500mAh battery whereas PT80S uses a 18650 removable battery. A 2A USB Type C port is provided on both models.

Output wise PT60 has a maximum 60W output and PT80 has an 80W max.

A 0.91inch OLED screen displays your vaping data and from what I can see this has Variable Wattage and Smart (selects output automatically) user modes.

Here is an introduction video from the YouTube channel

There are 6 color options to choose from Aegean Blue, Matte Grey, Light Silver, Alphine Green, Dark Black, and Earth Brown.

I am kicking myself for not actually trying these at Expo but they look beautiful in real life and are super lightweight – even with the battery installed on PT80S!
